As you step inside, the cozy ambiance wraps around you, combining rustic charm with artistic decor that creates a truly memorable dining atmosphere. The experience here is more than just about the food; it’s about the hospitality. The star of the show, of course, is the menu. Delve into a variety of crepes that showcase unique flavors. I was particularly enchanted by the CELEBRE CREPE ANDREE LACHAPELLE, a dish that evokes a sense of culinary excellence unmatched elsewhere. Local reviews highlight options like le braseur crepe, featuring a delectable combination of cheese, bacon, pork, and tomatoes; it’s a must-try for every savory crepe lover. With each bite, you can taste the care and passion put into these dishes.
In addition to their celestial crepes, Du Cote de chez Swann also serves their own artisanal beers, complementing the meal splendidly. Jason Serotta notes it as a fantastic spot for brunch or coffee, making it an ideal choice for a relaxed outing. While the menu is primarily in French, the lovely chef readily assists English-speaking visitors, ensuring that everyone enjoys their meal fully, even with the help of some tech tools like Google Translate.
In essence, Du Cote de Chez Swann is more than just a creperie; it's a heartwarming experience where flavor, comfort, and hospitality collide. “ What a fantastic little gem. Loved the food, loved the hospitality. The menu is in French but the chef speaks English so she explained the menu to us. They are very accommodating of any changes you want. Have google translate installed and ask them for wifi so you can use it their . It’s 10 mins detour from the highway and well worth it. Thanks for your hospitality and fabulous service. ”
“ Cozy creperie in Saint-Antoine-de-Tilly that is also a brewery (well off-site, but they serve their own made beers too). Fantastic spot for brunch/coffee. The servers speak mainly French with a touch of English, but the Wi-Fi works, so that helps. ”
“ Incredible place! Like in a dream! Fantastic crepes with unique flavours! I recommend LA CELEBRE CREPE ANDREE LACHAPELLE. Great garden and great staff! They have a small shop with nice products. ”
“ The best experience so far in Canada. Local restaurant, amazing air, service was unbelievable. Last but not least, the food. We order again because was so good. ”
“ We were so pleased to find this beautiful restaurant. I had no idea that crepe with cheese, bacon, pork, tomatoes (le braseur crepe) could be so good. And the beer (avec miel et bluets) was truly wonderful. The staff were friendly this made our visit very special - and it will be repeated. I should not forget to mention the ambiance and artwork. Very cosy. Very memorable. ”
“ I would have given this place more than 5 stars if I could. Possibly the best vegetarian crepe I have ever tried. I got caffe latte with buckwheat vegetarian crepe which consisted of leek, Gouda cheese and a side of salad. Also got Chai Latte. Both were 10/10. Rose our server was fantastic, she helped us with the menu and most importantly was very patient (also spoke English very well being in Quebec translating the menu for us from French to English ) the decor was absolutely stunning. I recommend this place to everyone who is in and around Quebec City. Make sure to make reservations during summer time. This was adviced to us by Rose :) ”
“ This creperie is such a quaint, cozy and welcoming little spot. We stopped while passing through and loved our experience! The staff was very friendly and helpful with our limited French speaking abilities. Gluten free options are available. The crepes are delicious! I wish I could pack this place up and take it home with me! ”
“ What a great find! My 16 yr old really, really wanted crepes on this trip. I am so happy we came across this place. The crepes and ice cream were delicious! ”
